The 1-inch S-Relays valve provides the high air flow, while the ED-02 provides accurate actuation of the pilot port. The Ceram valve provides a proven cost effective way to fill the air clutch. The customer decided to use copper tubing.
Shaft Brake Control
The Marex controls provide the timing and monitor the release of the brake.
Controllable Pitch
The bank of ED-05 e/p converters provides the commands for ahead, astern and engine speed. The Marex electronic controls provide reliable timing curves and advanced functions like load control.
Propulsion Control Panel
We replaced the SEI 500 control system on this fishing vessel. All functions are now controlled electronically. This provides an advantage for timing and reliability.
This panel controls the throttle actuator for a CAT 399 engine. The Ram up time can be programmed. The shaft brake timing is now optimized to extent the live on the brake pads. The Ceram valves shift the hydraulic gear using the WABCO 1-0-1 shift cylinder.
Pneumatic final control elements provide a simple and very durable way to control engine speed and clutch engagement.
